The choice of raw material is crucial, determining the quality of the final product. Depending on the project, it may be oak, beech, walnut, ash, or other species—each with its unique characteristics, colors, and properties. The wood is carefully selected for its structure, density, and natural grain, which give the furniture its character. True master craftsmen recognize the potential in every piece of wood, knowing that every log tells its own story.
Immediately after cutting, wood contains a significant amount of moisture, which can lead to cracks and deformation in later stages of production. Therefore, drying is a crucial step before delivery to the workshop. The wood is dried in special chambers or using traditional air drying methods until it reaches the appropriate moisture content (usually around 8-10%). This is the time during which the wood "breathes" and matures, preparing for further processing. Our wood arrives seasoned and dried from certified Polish sources.
We craft our furniture exclusively from solid oak, walnut, and ash wood. Below you'll find all the colors we can add to the finished product.
Oak - the mostpopular species
Solid oak is durable, hard, and abrasion-resistant. Oak wood is characterized by a distinct grain pattern and high susceptibility to staining. A characteristic and desirable feature of oak is its luster, or concentrated core rays, which beautifully reflect light, creating a unique visual effect.
The oak wood used in our furniture is carefully selected and may contain healthy knots, black knots up to 5mm in diameter, and a small amount of superficial cracks and sapwood.
We offer solid oak furniture in two finishes (brushed and polished) and seven colors.
