Unique design made

Wood is a beautiful yet incredibly capricious material. To create with it, you have to understand it. That’s why every piece of furniture bearing the Szyszki logo is made from scratch in our production facility by experienced carpenters.

We believe that in a crowd of similar designs (often copied from Western manufacturers), our own, original ideas combined with noble materials and careful workmanship will always stand out.

is Joanna Barejka

I am the founder and sole designer of the SZYSZKA brand. Craftsmanship and art have always been with me – they have shaped my sensitivity and imagination. In 2016, I decided to combine my passion with experience and create something truly unique. Thus, SZYSZKA was born – a brand to which I reflect a part of my vision, commitment, and attention to detail in every project.

I am a production engineer by training, which allows me to personally oversee every stage of the creation of my original furniture. From design, through material selection, to precise finishing – every detail passes through my hands because I believe that attention to detail defines quality. I have my own carpentry shop, which gives me full control over the production process and also allows me to fulfill custom orders, perfectly tailored to customer needs. In my designs, I focus on unique design and functionality, but for me, it’s more than that – each piece of furniture should have character and soul, tell a story that adds something extraordinary to the interior.

For me, SZYSZKA is synonymous with exceptionality in the world of furniture design. My goal is for everyone who chooses a product from my brand to feel they’re introducing something truly unique into their life—something that transcends utilitarian objects, becoming a part of their personal space. My furniture tells a story of passion, precision, and the power of a feminine perspective on the art of creation. For me, it’s not just a profession, but a true mission.

We are a manufacturer of wooden designer furniture. Our furniture factory is located in Krakow. You can order our tables, cabinets, chairs, and many other products online or see, touch, and order them at one of our partner showrooms across Poland. Our furniture is made locally, in a carpentry shop in Krakow’s Czyżyny district, but our craftsmanship is world-class!

We are a small carpentry shop operating since 2016. Our reputation is built on the design of products that combine high-quality craftsmanship with ergonomic solutions. We specialize in oak TV stands, wooden chests of drawers, and extendable oak tables, which can be customized to individual needs and preferences. Handcrafted production allows for extensive customization options while ensuring meticulous quality control.

Several models in our table range can be extended. We offer several extension systems, and all details about each system can be found in the product description. We strive to design all our wooden tables so that the extension system is as inconspicuous as possible. This allows us to extend even tables that, at first glance, cannot be extended.

The chairs, like the tables, are made of the highest quality materials and designed to last for many years, withstanding various challenges. We offer both solid, fully wooden chairs and upholstered chairs.
