    The Filo table is a tribute to craftsmanship in which form and function complement each other. Designed with harmonious proportions and comfort in mind, it is characterised by soft lines, gentle contours and a technical precision that remains almost invisible but can be felt at every shared meal. It is a piece of furniture that brings tranquillity to the interior without sacrificing everyday functionality.
    The subtly rounded corners, soft edges and moulded legs form a coherent, organic whole that cannot be confused with any other table. This soft shape lends it elegance and makes it a perfect companion for Japanese, modern retro and contemporary interiors with a subdued aesthetic.
    One feature that is appreciated in everyday use is the low height of the chest of drawers. It allows you to sit comfortably even on a chair with armrests, and the table does not restrict legroom. A detail that makes a big difference in practice. It is this nuance – in combination with the soft lines – that makes Filo a piece of furniture that you really enjoy spending time at.

    The Filo table is available in a folding version with a frontslide butterfly system that allows the surface to be extended easily. The technology used makes it possible to gently extend the table top and fold out one or two inserts that are recessed into the top. The mechanism works smoothly and effortlessly and remains invisible to the eye – the whole thing looks aesthetic and harmonious, whatever the setting.

    PAYMENT

    1. When making a transaction, the customer has the option to choose payment via Autopay, Klarna or direct bank transfer.

    2. The shipping cost is not included in the product price. The shipping cost is calculated in the basket after adding products.

    3. Products purchased through the Polish version of the store can only be delivered within Poland.

    DELIVERY

    1. The standard order processing time is approximately 40-60 business days. The maximum product processing time is 90 business days, unless otherwise agreed. The specified processing time does not apply to non-standard orders, the completion date of which is determined individually.

    2. The processing time is counted from the moment the advance payment is posted.

    3. The date of receipt of the shipment is the processing time + estimated delivery time. In the case of courier delivery, the delivery time is 2 business days, while in the case of domestic forwarding, the time is determined individually, usually up to a week.

    4. Standard delivery is done in the board-to-board system, which means that it does not include placing an order.

    5. The product is made to order and is non-returnable.

    Products

    I would like a different size of furniture. Is that possible?

    Of course! We specialize in the production of personalized solid wood furniture and have our own carpentry shop, so we are able to adjust the dimensions of our furniture.

    Where can I view the products?

    You can see our furniture in Krakow in our carpentry workshop and in partner showrooms in Poland and abroad. All showrooms are listed in the locations tab.

    What is the furniture made of?

    Our products are made of solid wood, mainly oak, but also American walnut and ash. For the production of internal parts, such as drawers, we often use hardwood plywood.

    Can I choose a different material than that shown on the website?

    We are open to using other types of wood, but we do not make furniture from furniture boards.

    How to choose furniture color?

    Oak is available in 8 shades, from bleached to graphite, and we also use ash wood and American walnut. You can view all colors and materials in the wood tab. You can view the colors in our Krakow plant, at one of our partners, or order samples for your home.

    Is the entire product range available in partner showrooms?

    Our partner showrooms only have selected products on display, but all products can be ordered from any partner, even if they are not physically there. Information about the display is placed in the locations tab.

    Are 3D product models available?

    Yes, we have 3D models of all our products. If you are an architect or distributor - please contact us via the form.

    Will I receive a visualization of the selected product before ordering?

    Due to time and technical constraints, we only visualize highly customized projects. Our program does not allow for applying specific textures, so we do not visualize products in a selected wood color.

    Does the TV cabinet have holes for sockets?

    No, our cabinets do not have holes for sockets - but we can make them for you anywhere, just send us a drawing.

    What is the difference between a brushed and a polished countertop?

    Brushing involves removing the soft tissue of the wood, giving it a visible and palpable texture.
    Both finishes have the same gloss level - semi-matt - and are impregnated in the same way.
    The advantage of brushing is less susceptibility to minor scratches, less visibility of minor scratches, and better oil absorption.
    The disadvantage of brushing is the inconvenient writing on a single sheet of paper (the pen gets into the grooves) and the inability to renovate the top yourself (a brush is needed for this).
    Brushed tops look more natural than polished ones, however, due to the more rustic character of the top, they do not match all the furniture models we offer, so we only offer this method of surface finishing on some tables.

    Impregnation

    How is furniture impregnated?

    Our furniture is covered with oil wax. Oil wax is a colorless coating based on natural oils and waxes, developed specifically for professional finishing of floors and other heavily loaded wooden surfaces. Oil wax creates a microporous coating that protects the wood while allowing it to breathe freely. Thanks to this, it regulates the intake and release of moisture and helps maintain a favorable microclimate in the interior.

    What are the benefits of wax oil?

    Furniture covered with oil wax stands out with its natural look and is pleasant to the touch. Unlike varnishes, oil wax does not create a hard, artificial coating on the wood, thanks to which we can feel the natural structure of the wood. Oil waxes, as the name suggests, are a mixture of natural ingredients, such as oils and waxes (including beeswax). They are completely safe, non-toxic and have European certificates that allow them to come into contact with food and children's toys. Oil waxes effectively protect against stains, for example from wine or coffee, by creating a hydrophobic barrier that protects the wood from moisture.

    When buying furniture, we want to use it, and use naturally leads to some wear and tear. In the case of varnished coatings, when the coating is damaged, it is necessary to sand and varnish it by a carpenter. Refreshing the oiled surface is extremely simple, and it is also pleasant to do something yourself. What's more, if a dent appears on your furniture, you don't have to worry. Even deeper dents can be removed with an iron. Simply moisten the area with a damp cloth, apply an iron and allow the steam to push the wood fibers into place. After smoothing the surface with sandpaper, simply reapply the oil wax and enjoy your furniture in perfect condition.

    Does the furniture need to be re-oiled?

    Impregnation of oiled furniture should be repeated. If matte stains appear on the surface, the top is no longer shiny and smooth, and liquids are absorbed instead of collecting on the surface, a new layer of oil wax should be immediately applied to the top. Failure to follow these recommendations may result in permanent stains from coloring substances and streaks! Impregnation should be done once a year or more often.

    Can I order varnished furniture?

    Yes, we can varnish our furniture upon special request, however the production time will be slightly longer and the price will be 5 to 15% higher depending on the product.

    You can buy impregnation oil from the manufacturer (Osmo) or from us (care kit).

    Placing an order

    How can I order furniture?

    You can order our furniture by placing an order online at www.szyszkadesign.pl, via e-mail to sklep@szyszkadesign.pl, in person at our plant in Krakow or from one of our distributors.

    Can I change the product dimensions?

    Yes, you can change the dimensions of the product. To do this, please send an e-mail to sklep@szyszkadesign.pl or contact us via the contact form.

    Can I change the color of the furniture?

    Oak is available in 8 shades, from bleached to graphite. You can view the colors at our facility in Krakow, at one of our partners, or order samples for home. If that's still not enough - provide us with a sample of your material and we will match it with a color!

    Can I order a completely custom design?

    Of course! We specialize in the production of personalized solid wood furniture and have our own carpentry shop, so we can create a project especially for you.

    Furniture production process

    Where is our furniture made?

    Our furniture is manufactured in Krakow. Upholstered and steel elements are outsourced to local companies with whom we have been working for many years.

    What does the production process look like?

    Our production is based on individual orders, and each product is manufactured for a specific customer. This makes our production very flexible. You can see the detailed production process here.

    Can I choose the wood the table is made of?

    We take into account customer preferences regarding wood selection (smooth knotless, rustic knotty), however, due to the fluidity of the production process, the customer does not take an active part in choosing a specific grain.

    Order fulfillment and delivery

    How long will I wait for the furniture I ordered?

    Our furniture is handcrafted from scratch, from raw board, to specific, individual orders. This is a time-consuming process, so you will have to wait about 40-60 working days for your furniture, up to 90. You will receive information about the expected completion date immediately after placing your order.

    How much does shipping cost?

    Shipping costs are determined by product and destination and will be calculated in your shopping cart after entering your postcode.

    Will we set a delivery date?

    Due to the size of the product, we always inform you about the delivery date and we set a date together. However, delivery dates are often beyond our control, so it is worth setting aside two days to receive your order.

    Is delivery made with cash on delivery?

    Standard delivery is made without delivery, however, if you need delivery - please contact us, providing us with the products you would like to purchase and the delivery address.

    Can I extend my delivery date?

    If for some reason you are unable to collect the product on the planned delivery date - please contact us as soon as possible. We will store your furniture without any problems during your absence. However, remember that if you do not collect the parcel because you did not inform us about your absence, you will be charged for the cost of a repeat delivery.

    Can I pick up my order myself?

    We definitely encourage you to collect your order in person. As soon as you receive information that the product is ready, you can set a convenient date for collection of the furniture.

    Payment

    How do I pay for the products?

    You can pay for your online order using fast Autopay payments (blik, Apple Pay, card), Klarna deferred payments and traditional bank transfer.

    Do I have to pay for my order in advance?

    Due to the nature of our work, we require a 50% advance payment - however, this option is only possible when choosing a traditional transfer. Quick payments require payment of the entire amount in advance. You can also use the possibility of deferred payments Klarna.

    Can I pay upon delivery of the product?

    Unfortunately, due to the specific nature of our production and dimensions, we do not send goods cash on delivery.

    Returns and complaints

    Can I return a product?

    Our products are made to order, therefore, in accordance with the Civil Code, we do not accept returns. The exceptions are products from the accessories and sale sections.

    Order arrived damaged. What should I do?

    First - inspect and unpack the package in front of the courier. If the product is damaged, write a damage report with the courier and contact us as soon as possible.

    How to file a complaint?
